Studio Time

It's cold and rainy outside today. In fact it's been cold and rainy here since Thanksgiving. Turns out this weather has been perfect for getting real and staying with some things that have bubbled up inside as a result of the holidays this year.

I am so glad I discovered process art .... it really has become the most used tool in my self-care toolbox. I use it frequently when my interior is needing some attention.

I've been embracing what it means to be human lately, and not trying to bypass my "flaws" and perceived weaknesses.

Working in my altered book and delving into a process painting has brought me comfort and insight during the cold and gloomy Thanksgiving holiday.

Dancing with my light and dark I find an exquisite broken wholeness.
