You Just Never Know What You're Gonna Get.....

 

 So.....because I started out as a process painter(www.creativenectarstudio.com) and will always be a process painter
at heart, I never really know what I am going to get when I start a new
piece.

Lately, I have been doing portraits...and this is really
odd for me because I haven't ever wanted to do portraits. But...I have to say, I love it!

I am constantly amazed by what comes out. My 2013 creative promise for myself is to just be curious about what appears. And even though I practice this every week with process painting....it's not an easy thing to do.

 I love these images being born, regardless of my judging mind.They tug at my heart. Sometimes they are happy and full of wisdom. They can also appear sad but strong and full of hope.

I am excited to get back in the studio tomorrow and see who wants to show up next!
